We are thrilled to announce our first ever Big Mend event due to take place on Saturday 18th October 2025.
The event takes place at Prestfelde School, London Road, Shrewsbury from 10am to 2pm. There is free parking and refreshments available on the day.
We do ask visitors to use the Preston Street entrance into the school as this is where the majority of the parking will be available. Please see map below to show the entrance with the red arrow. Car parking attendants will be on hand to assist and carry any heavy items as needed.
Key information for the day is as follows:
- No dogs on site
- Entrance via Preston Street via a one way system through the site
- Refreshments will be cash donations only, card payment donations are accepted in the repair area
- Car parking is on a first come, first served basis. The over-spill car park will be at the Shire Hall car park
- Disabled parking and assistance is available on the day, please speak to a marshal upon entry to the site
- We are expecting to be busy, so we advise you to arrive before 1pm to ensure your item can be repaired before the event closes.
There is no need to pre- book, and donations are welcome for any fixes on the day. We can't wait to see you there!
