Shropshire - Household Recycling Centres (HRC)

Vans and vehicles with trailers are now required to book a slot before visiting their local Household Recycling Centre. Booking takes a few minutes on the council's website 

Household Recycling Centres (HRCs) offer collection points for recyclable materials across Shropshire. They offer recycling facilities for a much wider range of materials than can be collected at the kerbside. Please note the rules below to ensure your next visit goes smoothly. 

• The HRCs are open Monday to Sunday from 9am - 5pm.
• All centres will be closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day.
• We only accept waste that is brought into the site by vehicle.
• Children are not permitted on site for safety reasons, and must remain inside vehicles 

• Only household waste from Shropshire residents is permitted within our HRCS. You may be asked to provide proof of your Shropshire address on your next visit.
