Welcome to our Reuse Scheme Trial
We are excited to announce that we are currently trailing a brand-new Reuse Scheme at the Shrewsbury Household Recycling Centre (Battlefield Enterprise Park, Vanguard Way, Shrewsbury, SY1 3TG). While recycling is fantastic for breaking down materials to be remade into new products, reuse takes sustainability a step further by keeping items in their original form.
By saving these items from the bin, we give valuable resources a second life whilst supporting our local community.
What Are We Collecting?
As we are in a trial phase, we are starting small to ensure everything runs smoothly. We are currently collecting specific items only, which include:
- Prams
- Children's Scooters
- Children's Bikes
- Sports Equipment
- Craft Supplies
- Paint Brushes
- Pots, pans
- Toys
Please Note: We can only accept items that are clean, safe and in good, usable condition.
Are You a Local Group? We Want to Hear from You!
The heart of this scheme is partnership. If you run or belong to a community group, school, charity, or local club that could benefit from the items we are collecting, we would love to hear from you.
Whether you need supplies for a school project, items to support families in need, or materials for community, we want to connect with you to distribute these goods directly back into the neighbourhood.
Please fill in the form here to arrange a collection https://forms.gle/YMSJDUDAMsCmAeFBA
Important: Collections for this scheme are by appointment only. Please do not arrive on site expecting to collect with no prior arrangement.
